We’re proud to have worked on the UK Cornerstone project, at the University of Kentucky, which transformed the entrance to the campus into a hub for innovation.
We’re always looking to innovate when possible, and this project was no different. We built and installed a multi-story, external media wall that spans 28′ wide and 55′ tall, and allows UK to provide timely information and updates to the campus community. The project was originally specified for steel tubing to hold up all of the screens, but we were able to switch to aluminum, thereby making the overall structure much lighter, while retaining the strength needed to keep the structure secure. Our scope also included all exterior signage on the parking deck. The digital displays were provided by the talented PixelFLEX LED team.
